emily was such a big helper with the easter eggs. we didn't get a chance to dye them until good friday, and after that, we were so busy that we never even decorated them. em did not seem to care at all.

we had to hurry and finish dying the eggs because grandmother and mr. kyle were coming to visit and we were having dinner with uncle dave, aunt misty, and cousin shay!
how cute is this skirt (even though it's purple). em picked it out at janie & jack (or is it jack & janie?) and could not wait to wear it.
now three and still has the same cheese face. <3 it.

i have no smooth transition here, so i won't try. below are some of the easter cookies i made. as fast as it came, the novelty of cookie making is wearing off. but you better believe i'm going to take pictures of them. can't spend 8+ hours making them and have nothing to show for it!
i sent these to our godson. we have not seen him in forever and miss him (and his mommy) very much!
