old friends

i am so sad our weekend is almost over. we were busy, busy, but got to see great friends. cousin shaylea turned 7 this weekend, and we celebrated with her at main event. it's like a dave & busters for kids. em even got to bowl a few frames with the big girls.

i just love these pictures of her drinking. i post them all the time. something about her lips and those cheeks! did you notice her bracelet? she chose that along with some clappers with her winnings from the birthday party.

on sunday, we had breakfast with aunt jenni and cade. em told aunt jenni all about how daddy won her a new barney yesterday. she even threw in the fact that he had to reload the game card with more money, ha! but $10 later, em had a new barney that she just "loves."

after breakfast, we got to introduce em to one of my oldest friends and her family. natalie and i have known each other since kindergarten. her daughter karington is 3 1/2 going on 6 or even 7, no joke. emily could not be more excited to meet her new friend and talked about miss k for days before. i loved catching up and hope it's not another 3 years before we do it again!

she is sassy, just like her mommy ;o)

oh, and can't forget about auntie phi. happy birthday! we love you!
