Mother's day actually started Friday when my little sister sent flowers to the house, not once, but twice. (Okay, so the second delivery was the next day, and the florist really wasn't supposed to deliver on Friday. But whatever! We LOVE flowers and will take an extra delivery anyday). Saturday was spent doing some of my favorite things- eating and shopping- with my 2 favorite people- Em and D. Em and D ran a little errand Saturday evening and brought home my most favorite flowers, hydrangias. I woke up Sunday morning (late, thank you sweet Em who let me sleep until almost 8) to breakfast in bed. Yum. Brunch with the whole Nguyen family minus Auntie Tina but plus H.G. followed at the club. Afterwards, my older sister had a special delivery for me, my fave red velvet cupcakes from Crave. It really has been a fabulous day!
This the best picture we could get this evening. Em's shirt says Mommy's #1 fan and has a picture of those goofy foam hands that (s0me) people like to wear at sporting events. :o)
And last, but certainly not least, Em wishes a happy mother's day to Granny, Grandmother, Auntie Elna, Auntie Lynda, and H.G. We love you very much!
