iphone dump

...is that what bloggers call it when they upload all their random pics?  not that i'm a real blogger.  either way, that's what i'm doing here.  i realize i haven't done an easter post yet, but hopefully this will hold you over until i get around to that.

last friday was superhero day at school.  choosing the theme of dress up day at school was awarded to a lucky beta whose parents had the highest bid at the fundraising gala last month.  emily was so excited to be "superhero emily" or "super e," as her teacher nicknamed her.

i ordered her cape, belt, and cuffs from etsy.  though i should have been flattered when everyone asked if i made the costume, i was not.  i mean, not really.  for $80, it should NOT have looked homemade.
on the other hand, had i made it, it would have looked much better.  none of that felt and hot glue mess.  still, emily loved her costume, and it was a big hit at school.

after dress up day at school, emily and her friend zoe had a playdate that included lunch then manis/pedis in these awesome chairs!  how cute is that?  (the girls were on opposite sides, so i couldn't get a pic of them together.  i do have one of zoe also, but is that weird to post that up here?)

and speaking of cute, please look at my first baby.  and his sprout.  at least i stopped making him wear bows.

yep, more cuteness.

this is so sweet to me.  it would be even sweeter if this wasn't our bed, but every other day is our pattern, and i'll take it!

today i got to sneak out and go to aaron's hoe down.  i always find myself smiling and laughing the whole time.  their little voices can be so cute...sometimes :)
and btw, please look at how big aaron is.  he only has about 20" to grow until he's taller than me.  sigh.

with ong and ba.  i LOVE that they are so involved with all of our babies.

even though i don't have any easter pics downloaded from my "big camera", as i like to call it, i did have some on my phone.

before.
and after.  if this weren't my child, i'd most certainly comment that this is a bit (i mean, very) white trash.  a topless baby girl in a blow up pool, shooting a gun.  and yet because she's mine, it is so stinking cute.

happy friday, y'all.  i am so ready for the weekend!
