here are some random pictures that we've taken over the last few weeks. i figured if i tried to write separate posts for each event, i'd never get to it. so here we goooooo!
em wanted to surprise miss brittany with a cookie cake on her birthday. she went and got the candle and put it in the cake all by herself. miss brittany was nice enough to let em help blow out the candle :) (that's janice, brittany's mom on the very right. she spent the afternoon with emily and took her to do the pedal boats at hermann).
these pictures are so blurry but i love britt's smile here. (i haven't figured out how to use my new point and shoot. either that or it's just cheap. or both).
later that week, we took britt to el tiempo to celebrate again. i made her pose with all that food, lol.
moving on to dylan's 4th birthday! here's our little pirate trying not to smile.
and em with ba. "ba, why are you wearing a hawaii shirt?" baby girl, i was wondering that, too!
i snatched up the birthday boy for a quick picture. obviously he wanted nothing to do with me.
luckily my sweet girl paused long enough to smile with her mama. (and ps, what in the world is going on with my legs? they look crazy. and a little jaundiced, if i'm being honest).
here's my other handsome nephew, aaron...what is it with these boys not wanting to smile?!
dylan's pirate cake. look at those eyes :)
happy birthday, dylio!
this little girl is caroline. she and emily will be at the same school next year. she also attended a session of camp with emily this summer and they became quick friends. i think she's so cute! happy 4th birthday, caroline!
again, excuse the blurry pictures. i had to post this one, though, because it ameks me laugh out loud every time i see it. she's just bouncing away. haha.
this was our first time at a real gymnastics studio? place? (it's our first time, remember?). em watched as the other kids hung from this and jumped into the pile of blocks before wanting to try it herself.
she loved it!
this is her pretty girl rock pose. apparently "miss brittany told [her] to start doing that." diva.
