easter celebrations have officially started! today was emily's big party at school. they had an easter egg hunt (em's first this year) and then a party at the end of the day.
lining up to get ready to go hunt some eggs. these kids have all been together for 2 years now. we will miss them next year, but are happy to have our friends chase (on the left in the green, who also shares em's birthday) and luke (in the stripes next to em) join us as betas next year.
i know. aaron and em will finally be split up. i am so sad for them, and hope that they remain best buds forever.
can you believe she let me put this bow in without a fight? too bad i wasted the bow on an ugly outfit. it was supposed to be a dress, but it was too short. so we had to add leggings...which are more of a winter white than a summer white and thus don't match. and they are full length instead of capri.
this isn't a good pic, but i had to add one of corbin mason (remember, em calls him by his full name, ha!). he is the happiest, most smiley little boy. i will for sure miss his smiling face next year.
ready...set...
go!!!
(can't figure why blogger is turning this pic. ugh.)
i don't think you can see it, but she found a tiny little flower and carried it around with her. sweet girl.
and so we will be able to look back and remember, these are all her friends:
front row- corbin mason, madi, gabriela, em, chase, aaron, clara
back row- charles, clementine, taurino, henry, luke

of course i had to make cookies for the kiddos to enjoy during their party (and an extra to send home with them, too!)

hoppy easter everyone!
