lady antebellum

we took emily to the rodeo on a whim because we got tickets at the last minute. we thought she'd like the rides- the flying elephants are her favorite. d and i really wanted her to see the mutton bustin because omg, it's so stinking cute to see those little kiddos hold on so tight. d thinks em is going to be really good at mutton bustin one day :).

anyway, mutton bustin is the last event before lady antebellum comes out, which is right about 9 pm. we thought we could let her stay up late to watch and then take her home when the concert started. no way. that little girl LOVED the music and swayed and clapped the whole night. we told her we were going to head home and she said, "but i'm not ready to leave yet." she had such a great time and had a meltdown when we made her go. "but i want to hear the rest of the songs!"

i totally forgot about taking pictures until we were leaving...look at this face :(
