em's first football game!

friday em got to see bevo at the co-op. she has been obsessed ever since.

aaron was so busy hugging em he forgot they needed to look at the camera :)

had i known this, i would have taken her to breakfast with bevo saturday morning. instead, we went shopping a little then got ready to take em to her first real tailgate and longhorn season opener.

you can tell she was thrilled. not even monika and cody could get her out of her mood.

em was sooo excited to see "monka!" (and cody, too). she misses monika so much and still asks about her all the time. (btw, brittany, our new nanny, is great, too!)

but after a quick nap on daddy's shoulder from the tailgate into the stadium, she was ready to go. and lord help the people who got in her way and blocked her view of "bebo." "look! bebo is waaay over there! you can barely see him!" "mommy, look at bebo!" "where's bebo?!" (she also liked the rice owl, but when he approached her at h.e.b. the next day, she did not like him at all)(and yes, we really do go to h.e.b. that much. emily loves the sticker machine).

while she looks a little hesitant, she was anything but. when the crowd cheered, em cheered. when i'd look over at her, she would be sitting nicely with her hands by her sides, but she was sure to hold up her hook 'em the whole game.
