em's easter basket- she got bathing suits, books, a dora dvd, bubbles, puzzles, a dress, art supplies, a helmet and knee and elbow pads, and cotton balls?
the easter bunny's fluffy tail left a trail for em to follow.that little purse on the floor? em was supposed to leave her chee choos in there so the easter bunny could give them to "the other babies," but she chickened out at the last minute. even if she hadn't, chances are we would have given them back to her since katy fussikins, her alter ego, was visiting for most of the weekend. our sweet girl has been sick the last few days and definitely not herself.
emily was helping tanner with his eggs. she'd get so excited for him. "look bobos! a-nudder bone!" notice her new easter shoes. she wore them to bed the night before, and needed them as soon as she woke up on sunday.

it was so cute watching the babies hunt eggs. i know they aren't technically babies anymore, but i will always call them our babies. dylan was fast! he picked up every egg he could. em was particular. she went for only the purple or green ones ("i yike purple and geen"), then she'd shake them. we hid money in some of them, and when she picked those up, she'd shake and say, "nuh-ting?" then drop them. aaron liked the footballs, baseballs, and basketball eggs.
she insisted on carrying this ginormous basket and would not let me help her.
