we had been looking forward to our trip to dallas for weeks. em could not stop talking about reecey and harper. she knew it was harper's birthday and spent the few days before we left finding stuff around the house to give to harper for her birthday. we were supposed to leave on friday. and we eventually did, until we had to turn around and go back home. about 45 min. into our trip, em got sick in the car. 3 times. aside from her reflux and 1 incident with yogurt covered cranberries, we haven't had to deal with such grossness. and my gosh, we got the motherload of grossness. so we turned around and went back home. sat. morning, em woke up and told me she would be seeing reecey and harper in a bit bit at their hoooome. she said she felt better, so off we went.

we had a great time in dallas. it's always so fun hanging out with jeremy, erin, and the girls. emily absolutely loves all of them. she didn't even need a few minutes to warm up to them! but i think her new favorite ewert might be madison, the yellow lab. "mat-tie" was so nice to her and let em pet her as much as she wanted. em's not used to that with tanner, b/c um, i don't think he likes her much.
