Pre-party

Instead of a Halloween party at school, Em's class had an "Orange you glad you love Jesus" party. And instead of costumes, the kids wore orange. The party started at 2, and we got there just in time. Donnie and I did as we always do, we stood from afar and peeked in the windows to see what our little girl was up to. We didn't see her for several minutes so decided she was having her diaper changed. As we approached the classroom door, we spied a little princess still asleep on her napmat in the midst of this little party. Haha. (She must get her ability to sleep through anything from her mom). Still, she must have known that we arrived because she immediately opened her eyes and sprung up to greet us. (We didn't take any pictures at the party, so this was taken once we got home).

After her orange party, we headed to the club for another Halloween party with her cousins and friends. Any excuse to get more candy...

Oh, I almost forgot. After the party, we headed to the hospital to visit Nolan Christopher, who arrived just in time for Halloween. (To our delight, Jackson Theodore roomed next door so we got to visit him, too. His daddy works with me). Emily wasn't too sure about the baby at first, but then fell in love with him. She was super sweet with Nolan. She "pat" him nicely ("niiice"), gave him kisses, and even told me she'd hold the baby.
