The Hills- Part 2

Before we get to our weekend, can I just say that I survived being a single parent for a week? Whew, that is hard work! But secretly, I loved not sharing Emily or Tanner with Donnie :o). Donnie, poor guy, had to spend an entire week in the UK for work. He had to do touristy stuff, brave the train (and the rain), shop, and eat all by himself. All the while, his wife and baby girl were at home doing super fun things without him.

So after a 10 hour flight, D volunteered to hop in the car and drive us 4 hours to Kerrville to visit the Hermans. Nevermind the ticket he got just 5 minutes away from their house. It had been way too long since we had seen our dear friends, and we were in a hurry! Em was awake the entire trip except for the 25 minutes before we arrived.

So Saturday was Keaton's 2nd birthday! Yay! He had a truck party and it was perfect.
