last night, we had aaron over while his parents were at a gala. he kept holding his finger and telling me it hurt because his mommy cut his nails too short. poor thing. i asked if he wanted a bandaid but he said, "no." minutes later though, he kept telling me it hurt so i convinced him that a bandaid would make him feel better. he agreed and let me put one on. then i sent him off with a kiss and started putting the bandaids up when i heard emily say this to him: "see, that's the magic thing about mommies."
