happy birthday to my first baby!

can tanner really be 13?  gosh, with every year, i just want to love and squeeze him more.  my baby boy is getting too old for my liking.  luckily, he is in perfect health.  a little slow to get up every once in a while, and we find him with a limp more than we would like to admit, but he is doing so, so well.  yay!  we've had a much better 2012 than 2011 as far as his health is concerned, and i am thankful for that. 

for tanner's birthday, he got lots of treats and even some puppy cupcakes!  he liked it so much and ate it so quickly that he burped it right up.  on the couch.  :)  happy, happy birthday to my first baby.  he taught me unconditional love first (well, besides my parents).

emily loves her brother so much.  like she gets mad when people think she's an only child.  she hates being away from him.  first thing each morning, last thing before we leave the house, and as soon as we get home...she gives him a hug and a kiss.  and sweet boy, he has finally learned to tolerate it.  it has taken years, but i think he's finally over us ruining his life by bringing her home.

and guess what?  we have a new cousin!  meet buck.
