happy birthday, aaron!

happy 3rd birthday, aaron bryce! we love you so much!

i can still remember standing outside the delivery room waiting for my nephew to arrive. i heard him cry, then heard the room laugh as he greeted everyone with a stream of...well, urine. i never thought about it until now, but that is sooo aaron! now that tiny little 6 lb. 9 oz. baby is a big boy. bigger than both of his older cousins, actually. and he is so sweet (when he's not being a turd).

like any fancy girl, em went to get a mani/pedi before the big party. she was so good; it was as if she did this every week. a girl can get used to being pampered pretty quickly!

i made treats for aaron's party. they were a big hit!

party time!

our little butterfly princess. she's chosen the butterfly almost every time we visit wonderwild.

love this expression...

this handsome boy is grant. he's on the short list of approved boys who may court our princess.

my monkeys :)

whoa, look at that hair!

ahh, safe landing. whew!

the cute, cute, cute birthday boy!

and his mischievious cousin

dylan!

dog pile on mr. ben! this is grant's daddy. he is 6'8" so we are pretty sure he's just fine under there.

this is a bad picture, but it's the only one i have of the cake. aaron chose sally again this year.

yum!

aaron's birthday was a few days after his party, so of course we celebrated again!
i <3 these babies so much. i hope they will always be the best of friends.

yes. em is wearing the same dress. it's becoming a trend at our house to wear the same dress/outfit over and over. there are only a few things em likes these days- "tutu dresses" are at the top of the list.
and "tialas" or headbands.

you'll notice em and dylan approach cupcake eating the same way most kids would...

and then there's aaron, lol!

happy birthday, yaya/jason/AAROOOOONNN! love your most favorite cousin :)
in case you are interested, here are aaron's 3 yr stats: 37 lbs and 38.5 inches. according to my sister, when he got his shot, "he stared right at the nurse, and without blinking an eye, asked her, 'why did you do that?' lol. then he asked if he could see the needle. bizarre, no tears, no nothing. just wanted to know why she poked him." this sums up aaron perfectly!
