if you ask em what happened, she'll say, "aaron had a bag of pennies and he busted my eye." unfortunately, that's pretty accurate. aaron swung his bag of change and hit her smack dab in the face. but she's okay, just a bruise on her eye(!) and cheek!

she's a tough one

and before you ask, i'm not sure why he carries around a bag of change. it's his thing. but i'm pretty sure his mama is going to find a new thing soon. aaron felt so bad that he put himself in time out and told his mom he was "going to be so, so nice to emily."

his mom sent me an email and said that aaron has to use his $3.72 to buy an "i'm sorry" gift for emily. then she said she was going to make him pay for it by himself. poor little guy.

update- this is her the next morning. you can see her left eye is all red. it didn't bother her at all, thankfully.
