she did it! she was so proud of herself and laughed and laughed when she realized what she did. look at that smile!
as has been consistent with em, she only does things when she's ready. you might remember we bought her a stand alone potty for christmas. she would only sit on it fully dressed and really wanted nothing to do with it after a few days. a couple of weeks ago, she picked out her dora princess potty. she sat on it once when we got back from target, and then not again. last night, when i asked her if she wanted to sit on her big girl toilet, she went running and said yes! i plopped her up there and she went number one almost immediately. she was so, so proud of herself!
after we called ba, ong, and all 3 aunties, we went for yogurt. can you tell how happy she was?...so yeah. when we got home, she sat on the potty once more but didn't do anything. and she's refused to go back up there since. oy!
update. she went on the potty at school on wednesday! see, when she's ready, she's ready.
