there was lots of celebrating to be had this weekend. first em's school valentine's party, where she came home with a bag of treats and valentines. em's valentine, followed closely by aaron's, was the best in the bag. (okay, maybe it was a tie since aaron's did come with curly ribbon and em's did not. wait, em's cookies were ordered from french gourmet bakery. aaron's were from sam's. which, while cute, are not gourmet. nice try, e).

saturday evening was new year's eve, so we went to ong and ba's house to celebrate.

sistershere is em "cung"ing (oh no, maybe it's "lai"ing). or, saying a special prayer for the upcoming year. i bet she asked for candy everyday.
